Splash will take place on May 22nd on Zoom
Teacher Registration now OPEN!
Santa Clara Splash is founded and fully run by Santa Clara University students eager to inspire high school students. We want to share our creativity and knowledge with local students and allow these young students a chance to gain insights into their interests. This is a chance for these local students to learn from passionate and knowledgeable college students like you.
As a Splash teacher, you can inspire local high school students by sharing your passions with them. You can design your own class and teach any topic you think is interesting. You can lead a workshop, give a lecture, teach a skill, or run an activity.
Teachers can gain experience developing their own curricula with access to students with the strongest desire to learn. The result is a unique dynamic between students that culminates in an unparalleled learning atmosphere.

Your commitment
There will be six class sections throughout the day, and you can teach in as many or as few as you would like. The most important thing we expect from our teachers is to come and teach their class on time. Please be aware of program dates and times. If you know in advance you will not be able to teach a session, please arrange for a substitute. If you cannot find one, we can arrange for someone else to teach the class for you.
We understand that emergencies and last-minute problems may pop up from time to time. If at any time you know that you will not make it to a class, please inform us as soon as possible. It is disrespectful both to the students who have signed up to learn from you and the administrators who organize the program when teachers simply do not show up. Please do not cancel your class days before the program starts. If you have any questions at all please contact us.
