Welcome to Santa Clara Splash!

We’re very sorry to inform you that we will not be running Splash this year.

This cancellation is happening in accordance with the SCU president's announcement to extend online classes through the end of the quarter due to Covid-19.

Splash is a one-day event that brings highly motivated high school students from surrounding communities onto campus to take crash courses in fun subjects like the chemistry of baking, how to start a business, intro to neuroscience, and more. All of these classes are taught by Santa Clara students, giving them the opportunity to share what they're passionate about, as well as enhancing their leadership and communication skills. Splash encourages high school students to take initiative over their own education and immerse themselves in learning environments outside of their typical classroom.

When is it?
Santa Clara Splash 2020 will take place on May 16th, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Santa Clara University. More details will be sent out the month of Splash.

Who can participate?
All students in high school are invited to attend and all SCU students are invited to teach.
Teachers are encouraged to teach classes on subjects they're passionate about. These can range from typical subjects, like chemistry or math, to hobbies and interests that they want to share with the greater community, such as dance, art, or anything else.
