Splash is a one-day event that brings highly motivated high school students from surrounding communities onto campus to take crash courses in fun subjects like the chemistry of baking, how to start a business, intro to neuroscience, and more. All of these classes are taught by Santa Clara students, giving them the opportunity to share what they're passionate about, as well as enhancing their leadership and communication skills. Splash encourages high school students to take initiative over their own education and immerse themselves in learning environments outside of their typical classroom.
When is it?
Santa
Clara Splash 2022 will take place on April 23rd, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Santa Claras campus. More details will be sent out the month of Splash.
Who can participate?
All
students in high school are invited to attend and all SCU students are invited to teach.
Teachers are encouraged to teach classes on subjects they're passionate about. These can range from typical subjects, like chemistry or math,
to hobbies and interests that they want to share with the greater community, such as dance, art, or anything else.
